Rehearsal Photography

Rehearsal photography offers a fascinating insight into the creative process behind a production. These images capture the moments of focus, collaboration, and discovery that lead up to opening night.

From early workshops and script read-throughs to technical rehearsals on stage, rehearsal photography celebrates the hard work and passion that go into building a performance. It’s a chance to show audiences, sponsors, or schools the unseen journey that makes the final production possible.

Many productions over look the importance of having rehearsal photographs taken but being able to release images weeks or months in advance of a performance dates can really help early ticket sales by gaining your audiences attention early.

Workshop Photography

Rehearsal photography shows the process that builds up to the final production from the first read-throughs to technical rehearsals it is a chance to show the actors. Workshop photography is a chance to show the teachers being involved with the students whilst classes are being taught.

It’s a different side to performance that most people don’t get to see but I think that every stage of preparation deserves recognition. Dancers aren’t just born over night. Neither are actors. Both take years of dedication, often from an early age, so it is nice to be able to show the hard work by the students and the teachers that allow future performances to be as good as they are.
